Answer:

Ultrafiltration (UF) is used to remove essentially all colloidal particles (0.01 to 1.0 microns) from water and some of the largest dissolved contaminants. The pore size in a UF membrane is mainly responsible for determining the type and size of contaminants removed.

Ultrafiltration :-

The flow of blood is too high through glomerulus . The pressure is so hight in the capillaries then other places. The reason for this great pressure is:-

  • Efferents arteriole is narrower than the afferents arteriole.

Due to this high pressure blood gets filter out from glomerules into the renal tubule. This function of filtration is called ultrafiltration .

The blood has many parts for emample plasma along with organic and inorganic compounds.

urea

gloucose

amino

acids

bases

In the process of filtration most of the compounds of blood comes out of glomerulos and passed into funnel-cavity of Blowman's capsule.
