The urinary system consists of the kidneys, ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra. The kidneys filter the blood to remove wastes and produce urine. The ureters, urinary bladder, and urethra together form the urinary tract, which acts as a plumbing system to drain urine from the kidneys, store it, and then release it during urination. Besides filtering and eliminating wastes from the body, the urinary system also maintains the homeostasis of water, ions, pH, blood pressure, calcium and the red blood cells.

↪Kidneys are the main parts of the system . These are two bean shaped structures placed on either side . These constitute a bundles Of NEPHRONS.
These Nephrons constitute the Basic filtering units of the Kidneys .

↪Blood enters the Kidneys through the Renal Arteries and similarly leaves through the Renal Veins . . The Nephrons Filter the Waste and this leads to the formation of Urine .
