Answer:

The Pathfinder tool makes it easy to create complex shapes because you can manipulate the shape, location, appearance and stacking order of all included shape paths. Simply create multiple shapes and use the Add, Exclude and Intersect options from the Pathfinder tool to create a compound shape.

Answer:

Pathfinders panel utilise the panel to change the final design and construct a complicated combination of shapes. When you apply effects from the panel, the items are automatically grouped.

Explanation:

Functions of sub tools in the pathfinder panel:

Divide: The most common, Divide divides the artwork into several sections where shapes overlap. The original forms' colour properties are not altered..

Trim: Removes the overlapping or hidden portions of the items. Trim eliminates the strokes if the objects are stroked. Objects with the same colour properties are not merged.

Merge: Depending on the shapes you start with, you may believe Merge does the same thing as Trim. However, there is one exception. It does, in fact, blend overlapping items of the same colour (regardless of the stacking order).

Crop: Removes everything except the uppermost object. Consider it a reverse cookie cutter. It also gets rid of strokes.

Outline: This is another Pathfinder that appears to do nothing at first glance. However, if you look closely, you'll notice that it's similar to Divide, except that instead of separate shapes, the outcome is individual line segments.

Minus :Back/Subtract is the inverse of Minus Front/Subtract. Anything that is overlapping and behind the frontmost object is removed.

Precision: Sets the precision with which Illustrator creates the paths. A lesser number will stick to the original shapes more closely. A larger one, though, is a different story.

Remove Redundant Points: Check this box to get rid of any points that are exactly on top of each other.

Divide And Outline Will Remove Unpainted Artwork: When you use Divide or Outline, you may encounter undesired shapes with no fill or stroke. To get rid of them, click this box.

clean way: The pathfinder tool enables you to edit and customize a variety of shapes in a neat and clean way.
