Given,
Chemical Reaction:
CH₄ (g) + 2O₂ (g) -------> CO₂ (g) + 2H₂O (l)
By Gay-Lussac's Law,
From this reaction, it is clear that 1 volume of Methane burns in 2 volumes of Oxygen producing 1 volume of Carbon Dioxide and 2 volumes of Water however, volume of water will be considered 0 because it's a liquid.
Given Mass of Methane = 24 g
Mass of Carbon Dioxide formed = 24 g
Mass of Water = Negligible
I hope this helps.
