Gandhi ji was on a long fast of 11 days. When the fast ended and he was going towards his ashram, he met a boy and a girl having laddus. The boy had 3 laddus and the girl had 5. All three (two children and Gandhi ji) sat down, and equally ate all the laddus together. Gandhi ji was very happy after eating laddus and invited them to come to his ashram. When they came to the ashram, he gave 1 barfi to the boy and 7 to the girl. As Gandhi ji was known for his ethics and strong sense of equality, justify Gandhi ji’s fairness of distributing the barfi.
