HEY MATE HERE IS UR ANSWER=

MASS PRODUCTION IS THE PRODUCTION OF LARGE AMOUNT OF PRODUCTS BY USING THE LATEST TECHNOLOGIES. THIS WAS INTRODUCED DURING THE BRITISH RULE WHICH MADE THE VILLAGE PEOPLE HOMELESS AND THEY LEAD IN POVERTY.

mahatma gandhiji was against the mass production and he wanted to replace this with the production of masses this means that gandhiji disliked the to done by machines he wanted that =every work should be done by people instead of machines.the nature has given us a wonderful gift which is our hands instead of doing in our hand we are maintaining it by machines , thus he gave a statement against the masses and he wanted to replace it by people.

Gandhiji believed in production by masses as mass production has only led to multiplication of wants and degeneration of morality. First of all, production by masses will solve the problem of unemployment as machines displace labour (it creates new jobs but proportion of skilled job in them is HIGH). He envisioned a self-sustained society with self-restraint. He was in the favour that consumption of goods and services should be limited. If one consumes more, it is at the cost of others and of the environment (due to degradation caused by reckless utilisation of resources of nature). He was also against concentration of wealth as it leads to inequality. He was of the opinion that businessmen/Industrialists should regard themselves as the trustees of wealth and not as the owners. The production by masses would put income into the pockets of masses. Since, the trickle down theory has failed to alleviate the poverty of the masses, “production by masses” is a good strategy to end poverty.

Visit Agra, Varanasi or Firozabad. At these places most people are self-employed/owning micro enterprises. These areas are not very developed (and also polluted) but masses have a source of livelihood though they don't own agricultural lands. This is great.
