Answers
Answer
Gandhi Ji called a nation-wide struggle after the infamous Jallianwala Bagh incident which happened on 13 April,1919. He adopted Khilafat Movement (to unite hindus and muslims for a successful mass agitation )and combined it with Non Cooperation Movement to launch a non-violent Khilafat Non-Cooperation movement.
Non-violent and Non-cooperation.
Explanation:
Gandhiji was shaken after the jallian walabagh incident when hundreds of people lost their lives while peacefully protesting in the Jallianwala bagh in Amritsar, Punjab.
He called on the people of India to join him in the struggle against the British.
However, his way of struggle was kind of different.
Instead of revolting and protesting in a violent manner, he urged the people of India to use nonviolence as their weapon. He asked Indians to boycott British-made products and start using homemade products.
He also urged Indians to not follow the laws made by the Britishers or any other order issued by them. A complete non-cooperation against the Britishers was launched by Mahatma Gandhi.
