Gopal Godse (brother of Nathuram Godse) who also was arrested and imprisoned for murder of M K Gandhi has publicly talked about this. His last interview is also available on youtube.
Gopal Godse has said that Gandhi did not say ‘Hey Ram’ but probably out of pain pronounced or made some noise like ‘Aeh’, at that is all.
‘Hey Ram’ etc is just glorification of his death.
