He succeeded more less in cutting front part, yet spoilt the back .he looked very funny and his friends joked "what's wrong with your hair? Gandhiji went to a barber in South frica asking him to cut his hair, however the barber refused to do so as Gandhiji was a black man, so Gandhiji decided to cut his hair on his own, he succeeded in cutting the front portion of his hair, but his back portion looks funny, so Gandhiji's friends made fun of him and asked him the reason for which he replied the same.
