ऐसे समय में एक दिन पॉवर हाउस वालों ने हमारे इलाके की बिजली कट कर दी। घर के अंदर रहना मुश्किल हो गया। लोगों ने पुराने ज़माने के हाथ के पंखों का उपयोग किया। कुछ लोग हवा खाने के लिए पेड़ों के नीचे जाकर बैठ गए। जिनकी एयर कंडीशनर और कूलर में रहने की आदत थी उनको सबसे अधिक परेशानी हुई। वे गर्मी से बेचैन हो गए।
रसोई में खाना बनाने वाली महिलाएं परेशान हो गयीं। बच्चे शोर मचाने लगे। शाम को पॉवर हाउस फोन करके हमारे इलाके के लोगों ने प्रार्थना करी और उनसे कहा कि इतनी गर्मी में बिजली के बिना रात बिताना कठिन हो जायेगा। काफी आग्रह करने के बाद, रात के दस बजे बिजली आई और सबको आराम मिला।It is always good to contrast when comparing.
