Answer : The Volume of gas at STP = 247.5ml

Explanation:

Given : P1 = 6 atm

V1 = 55 ml

T1 = 91° + 273 = 364 k

at STP : P2 = 1 atm

T2 = 273 k

Formula : P1V1 / T1 = P2V2 / T2

Substituting the value in th formula ,

∴ 6 × 55 / 364 = 1 × V2 / 273

∴ V2 = 6 × 55 × 263 / 364

∴ V2 = 90090 / 364 ml

∴ V2 = 247.5ml
