Ozone gas absorbs the ultra violet rays of the sun. Ozone is a gas which reflects the UV rays back into the space preventing them from entering into the Earth.

Ultra violet rays are the powerful rays which can cause skin cancer and dissolves the bones.

Cluro fluro carbons are the elements which can easily destroy the ozone layer. These elements are present in refrigirators and ACs.
