Gases are more compressible write two reasons for this

Mainly gases are compressed becuz most of the volume of gas is composed to the large amounts of empty space bet the gas patticals

because there is maximum intermolecular space or gaps between the molecules of gases...
all these molecules are in rapid motion thus they move about freely and occupy whatever space is available.therefore a gad has no shape and size thus gas can be easily compressed
