gases can be easily compressed but not liquid why?​

Answer:

The atoms and molecules in gases are much more spread out than in solids or liquids. They vibrate andmove freely at high speeds. A gas will fill any container, but if the container is not sealed, the gas willescape. Gas can be compressedmuch more easily than a liquid or solid.

because gases have too large intermolecular space but there is no or very less intermolecular space
