Bhamashah Yojana - Woman empowerment

Explanation:

The Government of Rajasthan introduced the Bhamashah Yojana scheme on 15 August 2014 under the then Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. Under this scheme, the benefits of governmental schemes, both financial and non-financial benefits, were transferred directly to women recipients in a transparent way.

The objective of the scheme is women empowerment, effective service delivery and financial inclusion. Bank Account and Bhamashah Card was issued in the name of the lady of the house, a woman above the age of 21.
