Gaurav ranks sixth in a class. Jatin is ninth from the last. If Aditya is sixth after Gaurav and just in the middle of Gaurav and Jatin,then how many students are there in the class?​

and their position be 1,2,3....x

gaurav's position 6

aditya's position = 6+6= 12

jatin's position x-9

(6+x-9)/2 = 12

=> x -3 = 24

=> x = 21

hence there are 21 students in class
