Gaurav uses blocks to build a 1 m 78 cm high tower. He increases its height
by 82 cm using more blocks. What is the height of the tower now?

Original height of tower = 1 metre 78 centimetres = 1.78 m

Increase in height = 82 cm = 0.82 m

New Height = 1.78 + 0.82 = 2.60 m = 2 metres 60 centimetres
