Geeta Phogat is an Indian
freestyle wrestler. She was trained by her father Mahavir Singh Phogat, who was
a wrestler himself in her native village. Geeta is the first female wrestler
from India who was qualified for the Olympic Summer Games. Also, she was the
first wrestler from India to win a gold medal for the sport at the Commonwealth
Games held in 2010.
