$y = 4x$

After 5 years,

$(y+ 5) = 3(x + 5)$

Since y=4x, then,

$4x + 5 = 3(x + 5)$

$4x + 5 = 3x + 15$

$4x - 3x = 15 - 5$

$x = 10$

y=4x

=4(10)

=40

Therefore, Geetha's age is 10 years and her father's age is 40 years.
