Gender of child is determined by the male partner of couple. Explain with reasons whether this statement is true or false

Ya!! This statement is true because male have 2 sex chromosomes Y and X and female have 2 sex chromosomes X and X. if X meets Y then there is a boy and if X meets X then there is a girl. That's why male is responsible for gender of child.female have 2 sex chromosomes which are same but male have 2 different sex chromosomes.

This statement is absolutely true.

Reason :

In a male body, 2 types of chromosomes, X and Y, are present or found. So, in their gametes, XY chromosome is present.

While in females, XX chromosomes which are of same type are found in their gametes.

Now, when female gamete having X chromosome fuses with male gamete having Y chromosome, it results into a boy baby. And, fusion of female X chromosome and male X chromosome produces girl baby.

So, since the sex chromosomes present in the female is of same type and the males have two different chromosomes, so it is the father on which the gender of a baby depends.
