Water Pollution is a major issue in the villages.
People use the river water for all sorts of practices like washing clothes, cleaning utensils, bathing of human beings as well as farm animals, throwing of garbage wastes etc.
For purification of water so that pure water reaches the house, the gram panchayat plays an important role.
