how to construct 45 degree through compass please give me answer
Answers
do following steps-
open the compass and draw a semi circle from the right side end make an arc on the semi circle and now from that arc make another arc to the semi circle.
Now from both the arcs make circle the place where the circles intersect each other will be perpendicular to.
now draw a line from the center of the semi circle passing through the intersection of the 2 circles .
now place the compass at the point where the this line intersects the semi circle and make an arc and make an another arc from the right side end of the semi circle .
Now stretch a line from the centre of the semi circle passing from the intersection.
your 45 degree angle is ready.
if you understood then plz comment and for doubts ask.
1) Draw a straight line segment AB
2) Place the compass point at A, with any radium rougly equal to the length of AB. Draw a circle by pivoting about point A.
3) Repeat above for point B
4) You should get two point of intersections. Draw another line segment (I called it CD) crossing these two points. At the end of this step you should be able to get two lines perpendicular to each other.
5) You will be able to see four shorter lines extending outwards starting from the point of intersection of AB and CD. Erase off two of them. You can even erase the circles you have drawn as they are lionly for aiding purpose.
6) Point of intersection of AB and CD should be a pointy edge now, and I now called it vertex V.
7) With any radius, and with the compass point at the vertex V, draw an arc of a circle that crosses both arms (the remaining two shorter lines) The crossings are labelled FG.
8) With any radius, and with the compass point at F, draw an arc in between both arms. This arc should be somewhat long.
9) Repeat step 8 at point G, but this time you need to ensure this arc will intersect with the arc mentioned in step 8. I will call this intersection H.
10) Join the vertex V to H with a line. This line will bisect the angle at vertex V. Remember that line AB and CD are perpendicular to each other? Well that means that between them is a 90 degree angle. Bisecting it gives a 45 degree.
You should probably look for animations that will better illustrate the entire process of constructing angles on the internet. Anyway, hope this helps :)
