● Temperature : 20°C to 35°C but 25°C is ideal temperature.
● Rainfall : Tea plant needs rainfall ranging between 150 cm to 250 cm.
● Soil : It requires light loamy soil.The soil should be rich in humus and iron content.

Soil type :
A deep well-drained fertile alluvial soil.
Temperature :
It grows well in hot and humid condition of the tropical and sub-tropical regions.
Temperature requirement is 20 to 30 degree celsius.
Rainfall :
It needs 150cm to 300cm of annual rainfall. Hilly slopes are ideal for it's cultivation.
