Answer the following questions in brief.
1. With the Tropic of Cancer dividing the country into half , what type of temperature is generally found in India?
Answers
Most regions on the Tropic of Cancer experience two distinct seasons: an extremely hot summer with temperatures often reaching 45 °C (113 °F) and a warm winter with maxima around 22 °C (72 °F).In addition to being used to divide the Earth into different parts for navigation and marking the northern boundary of the tropics, the Tropic of Cancer is also significant to the Earth's amount of solar insolation and the creation of seasons.
The Tropic of Cancer runs through the middle of India. The areas that lie south of Tropic of Cancer are closer to Equator and throughout the year, they experience very high temperature. On the other hand, the northern parts lie in warm temperature zone. Because of this, they experience low temperatures comparatively.
