a)Sustainable development is the organizing principle for meeting human development goals while at the same time sustaining the ability of natural systems to provide the natural resources and ecosystem services upon which the economy and society depends . The desired result is a state of society where living conditions and resource use continue to meet human needs without undermining the integrity and stability of the natural system. Sustainable development can be classified as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations.

Hey dear here is your answer!!!!!

(A) Sustainable Development:-

Development is necessary for any nation but the rates of the development are predicted not to be constant and will come to an halt if compared with the current usage of resources. So, we need a method which can help us develop along with maintaining our resources. Such a development is named as sustainable development.

(B) Resource Planning:-

India is a diverse country and every region of India is rich in one resource but deficient in other. So, resource planning is necessary to provide every part of the country the resource it lacks in. Let's look at an example - Rajasthan and Gujarat are rich in solar and wind energy but lack in water resources, whereas on the other hand Assam and other eastern states are rich in water resources but lack infrastructural development. So, all the states need resource planning.

(C) Fallow Land:-

Any crop requires some nutrients to grow which are provided to them by the soil but after a long period of time, the land starts to lose its quality and becomes unfit for crop production. So, farmers to counter this problem leave the piece of land fallow for a few season so that the soil re-gains its fertility and becomes fit for cultivation again. Such a land is called fallow land.

(D) Net Sown Area:-

Every year a large portion of land is used in agriculture. So, the new sown area is referred to any land that is sown for more than once in an agricultural year. Ex - The same land is used for growing Rabi as well as Kharif crops in the same year by a farmer. This practice is common in the areas of Haryana and Punjab.

(E) Potential Resources:-

We have resources all around us. They are classified into some categories on the basis of their development. One of them is Potential Resources. These are the resources whose capabilities have been identified and have the capability to satisfy the needs but they are not utilized to their full extent and remain a potential source of energy.

(F) Stock Resources:-

This is an another category on the basis of development of resources. These are the resources whose capabilities are known to humans but the technology to put them into use has not been developed yet but they might be used in future. We don't know how to utilize them but we know their purpose.

(G) Territorial Water:-

Any country has right over the resources which are found in it but apart from this countries have the right over the oceanic area upto 12 nautical miles around its main land which is about 22.2 Km. The resources found in this oceanic area will belong to that country.
