I don’t know how your supposed to ‘prove’ it, but you can draw an isosceles triangle labeled A, B, C, on each edge. After that draw M (mid point of BC) and connect it to point A with a line. Because AB is the same length as AC, by splitting the triangle with line AM would only make it symmetrical.
