Let x, y & z be no of boxes George, Mark or Henry can paint in one day.

From given data,

20x + 20y = 720, ∴ x + y = 36 ...(1)

24y + 24z = 720, ∴ y + z = 30 ...(2)

15x + 15z = 720, ∴ x + z = 48 ...(3)

Solving (1), (2) & (3),

x = 27

y = 9

z = 21

Now, to calculate no of boxes painted -

Boxes painted = 4x + 8y + 8z

Boxes painted = 4×27 + 8×9 + 8×21

Boxes painted = 108 + 72 + 168

Boxes painted = 348 boxes

Therefore, total mo of boxes painted by them is 348 boxes.
