germenating seeds why they are not boiled

If the germinating seeds are boiled, the high temperature will destroy the delicate embryo and due to this the seed won't grow. Therfore, the germinating seeds are not boiled.

many seeds with hard shells need to be treated to allow water to penetrate them to germinate the embryo inside , a process called scarification . while tumbling the seeds with sandpaper or a file to help water  to penetrate their hard enteriors ,hot water may also wok for some seeds . but in some seeds the cases is just the vise - versa.
