let girish's age be x, then his father's age will be 7x.

after 10 years, girish's age will be x+10 and his father's age will be 7x+10.

after 10 years girish's father will be his 3 times, i.e. :

7x+10= 3(x+10)

=7x+10= 3x+30

=7x-3x=30-10

=4x=20

=x=20/4

=5

therefore girish's age is 5 years and his father's age is 7x i.e. 7*5= 35

Answer:

Let the present age of girish be x

So his father's age is7x

after 10 years, girish's age will be x+10 and his father's age will be 7x+10.

ATQ

(x+10)3= 7x+10

So

3x+30=7x+10

4x=20

x=5 years

7x=7×5=35 years

So the present age of girish is 5 years and that of his father is 35 years.
