Answer : 51:66

Explanation :

Since capital is not the same, the ratio needs to be found out.

Girish invest 25000 for initial 3 months and 20000 for the next 9 months.

Girish’s term of ratio is:

=( 25000*3 + 20000*9)

Harish invest Rs.30000 for 3 months and Rs.40000 for next 6 months.

Harish’s term of ratio is:

= (30000*3 + 40000*6)

Girish: Harish = ( 25000*3 + 20000*9) : (30000*3 : 40000*6)

                    = (25*3 + 20*9) : (30*3 + 40*6)

                    = (25*3 + 20*9) : (30*3 + 40*6)

                    = 255:330

                     = 51:66
