Corrosion -it is the slow heating up of metals by the action of air and moisture .
Rancidity- if oils or fats or food can oil or fat are exposed to air get oxidised due to the food get smell and bad taste.

rancidity-when food containing oil or fats is left as such for a long time it develops a bad taste and smell particularly in summer. corrosion-the effect on metals due to action of air or moisture
