An example of a strong alkali is hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulphuric acid. Sodium and potassium hydroxide 
and an example of weak alkali is Ethanoic, citric and carbonic acids

A strong alkali has completely ionosed

Example: Sodium Hydroxide(NaOH),Potassium Hydroxide

A strong alkali has a pH pf 14

WEAK ALKALI

A weak alkali has only partly ionised

Example: Ammonia,Barium Hydroxide

A weak alkali has a pH of 11 or 12
