The three states having sparse population in india are : Sikkim , Jammu and Kashmir and Goa .
The population of Sikkim is low because of its physical features . There is lack of health care centres in Sikkim and also there is no opportunity for economic activities.
The population of Jammu and Kashmir is low because it is the area located near the border and chance of terrorism is too high in J and K . Also the government don’t allow people to settle their .
The density of Goa is too less because of its area . It is the smallest state of the country .
