• The amazon forest is filled with rainforest that has medicinal properties and knows as the green lungs of the planet. Since 2010 deforestation has grown at an alarming rate and is mostly done for cattle ranching purposes.

• The deforestation in India is also a major problem that is created by the shareholders, farmers, ranchers and loggers, and an estimated 13.7 million hectares of the forest are lost annually. Most of the land is cleared for agriculture practices.
