Mourad's joy ride is the ride that he enjoyed on a white horse. It was always his dream to do this. So, according to him, the horse is not stolen if it is used only for riding and not for other reasons such as money. He rode twice on the horse – one by himself and one along with his cousin.

Mourad was a Small Boy..a Villager.. though he was a poor boy..Their community had always had the pride of being honest and commited.His friend had stolen a horse from a farmer who had all his wealth in it. Mourad had always Longed for a horse Ride from beginning.And now..his dream was about to be fulfilled.According to him..it was not stealing..But if they were to sell the horse and make money out of ir..it would be a theft.So they went on a horse Ride.First the crazy friend of mourad Rode the horse...And later..mourad..though not so confident about it..was willing for the same..but the moment he began his ride and Kicked the horse..it ran away and threw mourad down.It was lost.they later had to find it first and then hide it somewhere from the people.they then took it to a safe place and took its care.For Mourad..this seemingly simple and common experience was a dream come true..he had always longed for..He was very exited and happy about it.Its reflected from the adventurous way of writting the lesson"The Summer of A Beautiful White Horse".
