In Odisha, The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha (CHSE) conducts the Class 12th examination and Board of Secondary Education conducts the High School Certificate Examinations (BSE Odisha HSC 10th result). BSE Odisha 10th Board Exam and CHSE Odisha (+2) or Odisha 12th Board Exam will be held in the month of February March 2020.
Last year Odisha Board of Secondary Education (BSE) had declared the class 10 or High School Certificate examination results on 21 May. 70.78% of students had passed the BSE Odisha HSC 10th exam 2019. The last year 1180 students had got A1 grade, 9938 got A2 grade and 24991 students got B1 grade. About 3.97 lakh students had passed the Odisha Class 10th exam, out of which 2.05 lakh were girls and 1.91 lakh were boys. In 82 Schools not a single student had passed the exam while in 289 schools all the students had passed.
Last Year (2019), Odisha board Class 12 science stream exam result was announced on 3 June 2019. Out of 97,750 students who had written the science exam, 72.33% had passed compared to 76.98 percent in 2018. Girls had performed better than boys in the Odisha board Class 12 science exam with a pass percentage of 75.02%. The pass percentage for boys was 70.4%. Balasore district had recorded the highest pass percentage of 86.56%. Tribal-dominated Gajapati had the lowest pass percentage of 36.2%.
