• Indian dance body movements, hand gestures and visual language. It also involves movement of other body parts such as legs, waist chest etc. alone or in combination.

• There are five styles of traditional dance practiced and developed in different regions and also use different gestures.

• Music in India is influenced by a fusion of western, Iran and other Asian country. It uses tala or tal and  raga which is a melodic pattern.

• The music instruments popular is sitar, sarangi and also some western instruments such as violin, organ or harmonium which influenced the modern music.
