In Drury Lane, Griffin faced a lot of
difficulties. One such example is that Griffin had no clothes to wear. As a
result, when he walked through the streets here, dirt accumulated all over his
body. This made him appear hideously visible. Also, he had no place where he
could take shelter. To add to the misery, Griffin found that he could not eat
peacefully without drawing the attention of other people around him and
exposing his invisible face.

Answer:griffin went to drury lane in hope of finding clothes and something that would hide his empty space above shoulders. He found a suitable shop and made his way invisibly upstairs and came out after wearing clothes , bandages round his forehead, dark glasses, false nose, big bushy side whiskers and a large hat. To escape without being seen he attacked the shopkeeper from behind and robbed him.
