The features of ganga plains are:-
1. The ganga plain extends from ghaggar to northern plains.
2. It is spread over the status: haryana, delhi, u.p, bihar, partly jharkhand and west bengal.
3. They are very fertile and agriculturaly productive land covered with alluvial soil.
4. Thick mangrove and evergreen forests grow in deltas of ganga.
