Give a rough idea of what economics is like in class 11th(and maybe 12th also) (and particularly if we choose humanities). Is it more inclined towards maths or its like theory? Please provide with all the details you have in this reference.

As far as I know about the field of economics and humanities, you will be concentrating a lot on theoretical aspects and not much on actual problem solving.

And in class eleven, you'll be exposed to a lot of important theoretical aspects in economics rather than what you learnt/learning in 10th grade. It'd be a lot of work, but if you are interested in such a field, it is surely worth it as there are a lot of professional courses you can take after graduating from 12th.

One of my friends wanted to take arts and humanities in 11th but was alarmed by the amount of course materials given in the textbook. So she is going to opt for commerce instead. But if you, as I'm emphasizing, are interested in this field, it is surely worth a shot.

Hope this helps!
