Poiseuille equation, is a physical law that gives the pressure drop in an incompressibleand Newtonian fluid in laminar flow flowing through a long cylindrical pipe of constant cross section.

Answer :

Poiseuille's formula -

Poiseuille gave a formula for the rate of flow of liquid through a horizontal tube under a pressure difference.

Let the radius of horizontal tube is r, length of tube is l and a liquid of coefficient of viscosity \eta flows through this horizontal tube under a pressure difference P.

Then the voluma of the liquid flowing through the tube in per unit time -

V=\frac{P\pi r^4}{8\eta l}

The formula above is known as Poiseuille's formula.
