Poiseuille's formula -

Poiseuille gave a formula for the rate of flow of liquid through a horizontal tube under a pressure difference.

Let the radius of horizontal tube is $r$, length of tube is $l$ and a liquid of coefficient of viscosity $\eta$ flows through this horizontal tube under a pressure difference $P$.

Then the voluma of the liquid flowing through the tube in per unit time -

⇒ $V=\frac{P\pi r^4}{8\eta l}$

The formula above is known as Poiseuille's formula.
