Porifera: They live mostly in the sea but a few occur in freshwater. The body is porous.Reproduction is both by asexual and sexual means.Ex: Sycon,Spongia etc.

Coelenterata: They are aquatic forms.Respiratory and excretory systems are lacking.Ex: Hydra, Aurelia etc.

Platyhelminthes: They show bilateral symmetry. They are unsegmented worms.Ex: liver fluke, Tapeworm etc.

Nematoda: Bodies are unsegmented. They are triploblastic animals.Ex:Ascaris,Pin worm etc.

Annelida : They are triploblastic animals. Bodies are bilaterally symmetrical.Ex: Earthworm,Leech etc.

Arthropoda: The body is bilaterally symmetrical and triploblastic. Excreation occurs by malphighian tubes.Ex: Prawn , Water flea etc.

Mollusca: They have soft and unsegmented body. Bilateral symmetry is present. Ex: Mussel, Cuttlefish etc.

Echinodermata: Body is triploblastic, coelomate and without segmentation. Sexes are separate. Ex: Starfish, Brittle star etc.
