Thauma means miracle or wonder or marvel, and turgy is magic; thus, thaumaturgy is the miracle of magic. Thaumaturgical, thaumaturgic, thaumaturgist are all associated words. So, you could use thauma as a close suffix, or you could use turgy as a much more precise suffix.

Answer:
The suffix '-mancy' followed by a Greek or Latin derived word (cryo, pyro, sangro, etc) is the most common. It produces words like cryomancy, hemomancy, etc. This has always worked for me, but if your magical system is less catalogued (by the people of the world) these might sound too scientific.
