Hi!

The formula to find number of moles is

Number of moles =no.of moles present in solution/1000 g of solvent

mole may be defined as the substance which contains as many specified elementary particles as there are atoms in 12 g sample of carbon 12 isotope.

THANK YOU!!

ALL THE BEST.☺️

hey!!

here is ur answer!!
=========================================

First of all,

A mole is the amount of substance which contains the same number of units as the number of atoms in 12.000 g of carbon

A mole is the collection if particles containing particles equal to 6.023 * 10^23 Avogadro number..

DETERMINATION OF THE MOLE WEIGHT AND THE VAPOUR DENSITY

Molecular Weight =

Mass of 1 molecule of a substance /mass of 1 atom of hydrogen..

Vapour Density =

Mass of a certain volume of gas or vapour / Mass of the same volume of hydrogen..

(as we all know hydrogen is diatomic)

Vapour Density =

mass of 1 molecule of gas orr vapour / mass of 2 atoms of hydrogen

by solving we get,

Vapour density *2 = Molecular weight ( see the formula of Molecular weight above)

For calculating :

the no. of moles, the mass the volume, the no. of molecules and the gram molecular wt.

Formula >> see in the picture....

For calculating gram atom and gram molecules

Gram atoms =

Mass in grams / Relative atomic mass [At. Wt. ]

Gram molecule =

Mass in grams / Relative molecular mass[Mol. Wt. ]

hope this helps u!!
