Explanation:
Hi dude.....
The last lesson is a story written by a french novelist Alphonse Daudet. This is a story during the Franco- Prussia war and narrates the story about Franz who attends his last french lesson with his tutor M. Hamel.
The last day of the school was as silent as a sunday morning. There were no chattering of students, banging of desks and everything was so silent. There was a huge crowd in front of the notice board. M. Hamel was unusually kind and gentle on that day.He had on his beautiful green coat, his frilled shirt and the little black silk, all embroidered, that he never wore except on inspection and prize days.
The villagers were also found sitting in the back of the classroom, which was their way of thanking the master for his forty years of faithful service and of showing their respect for their country that was not theirs anymore.
M. Hamel went on to talk about the french language saying that it was the most beautiful language in the world. He said to them that as long as they hold fast to their language it is as if they had the key to their prison.
He gave them classes in grammar and writing and almost seemed as if he wanted to give them all he knew. The students too were unusually attentive and remarked on how easy it was. They regret for not learning their lessons and attending the classes. Every body worked very hard that day in honor of their last french lesson.
At the end of the class, M. Hamel became very emotional and could not continue his words. He turned to the blackboard and wrote"Vive La France".

Answer:
M Hamel had put on his ceremonial clothes on his last day in the school. He was wearing a beautiful green coat, a frilled shirt, and a little black embroidered silk cap. He was not feeling good at his last day becoz he was a real patriotic and loved his land and language too much.
Explanation:
On his last day, M. Hamel was dressed in his best suit. He was not scolding the boys for coming late to class or not preparing their lessons. He regretted having wasted the time of his classes by sending the narrator, Franz to water his flowers and dismissing the class to go fishing before.
