The sultanate 's power rose under sultan Iltutmish. Iltutmish created a body of trusted slaves (Iqtadars were mostly slaves) who could be summoned at any time.  He also completed the left structure of the Qutb Minar . All this led to the expansion and consolidation of Delhi sultanate.
