The northern plains of India are one of the fertile and ideal plains of the world.It is fed by the water of the Himalyas.The plains of Northern area includes,U.P.,Bar, Punjabi, Him a chal Pradesh,etc.In this are mostly wheat,rice and barley are grown.

The northern Indian plains are very fertile for growth of plants and crops. They contain alluvial soil. They are interplayed by three major rivers namely The Ganga, the Brahmaputra and the Indus.The northern plains have adequate rainfall and climate. The largest part of northern plain is made of older alluvium. Due to its fertility there is a high concentration of people in these plains.The northern plains are divided into three sections namely the western plain, the Ganga plain and the Brahmaputra plain.....
