The Company paassed a new law stating that an Indian who converted to Christianity only could inherit the property of their ancestors after the Revolt Of 1857.Also Indian sepoys were forced to practice army drills with gun cartridges coated with fat of cows and pigs, which was unholy in Hinduism.
