Hi...!

Stimulus : A stimulus is any kind of change in the environment of an organism which results in a change in the internal or external function of that organism.

Response : A response is any kind of action by the organism as a result of the stimulus.

Parts involved :

i) Receptor : Sense organs which receive stimuli.

ii) Nerves : The stimulus is received by nerve endings and sent to the brain by sensory nerves .

iii) Brain : The brain accepts the stimulus and sends commands to the effector(muscle) to either extract or contract by motor nerves .

Example :

i) You hear a sound from a teacher '' open page no 35 in grammar book '' ---- stimulus in the form of sound through receptor ear.

ii) The impulse is sent to brain through sensry nerve . The brain accepts and send command to effector muscle fingers to move .---response(a slow one)

Thanks....!
