When an electron is lost by atom . then the unit charge obtained by the atom is called monovalent positive radical.

EXAMPLES :- H⁺ , Na⁺ , K⁺ , NH₄⁺ , Ag⁺

 \large \rm \: (ii) \:  {\underline {\orange{ \rm{divalent \: positive \: radical : - }}}}

When two electrons are lost by the atom it accquires a dipositive charge. The so called ion formed is called divalent positive radical

EXAMPLES :- Mg²⁺ , Cu²⁺ , Ca²⁺ , Fe²⁺ , Hg²⁺

 \large \rm(iii)  \: {\underline {\green{trivalent \:  positive \: radical : - }}}

When three radicals are lost by the atom it acquires a tripositive charge . The so called ion formed is called trivalent positive radical

EXAMPLES :- Al³⁺ , Fe³⁺
